If you want to be sure that your dogs are getting good treats, consider making your own biscuits and treats for your dog. I do that for mine. I buy human grade and fresh ingredients and make them peanut butter biscuits which they love. I also take bananas and nickel them, then put them in freezer baggies where they are in rows beside each other so they don’t freeze together, then I give the pups a few of those occasionally. Another thing I make for them is "sweet potato fries" which oven dried strips of sweet potatoes cut like fries. Google "dog treats and biscuit recipes" and you’ll get plenty of ideas. Your dog will probably be okay with the little bites and the snausages. But you never know when inferior product used in dog foods and treats will cause problems. Here’s a site to keep updated on recalls:
http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/newpetfoodrecalls/#Dog
And you can check with the companies that make your treat/foods and see if they have issued any voluntary recalls.
A really good treat for your dog is pieces of cooked chicken. That way you know what you are giving the dog, and that it is wholesome. It also costs less that those treats that you buy, and the dogs like it.
They are not recalled.
